The only way to do great work is to love what you do"-Steve Jobs
The Threlfall family is the fourth generation to have a passion for dogs in some capacity and Evan is a NC native. Evan actually worked at the former Randenn in highschool. Evan & Stacy are also AKC Professional Handlers and have many accolades on the show circuit. Our vision of a pet care facility was most like a home away from home while nestled in the countryside. We are very excited and proud to present this to the community. We are one of the only facilities that have owners living on the premises. We are in love with the idea of a home away from home that is very hands on and intimate giving dogs the best stay possible.
Both Evan and Stacy apprenticed under many dogshow handlers and have worked in many pet resorts and spas in order to perfect their grooming techniques and ability to work with different breeds or difficult animals. The rapport you see when you pick up your pets from us is just the tip of the iceberg. Critical to Edgewood Farm Kennel's success is the countless hours the team spends behind the scenes -- nurturing, grooming, and building a strong relationship with your pets. Simply put, our dedication shows in the way the dogs love to visit us! We are honored with the confidence placed in us to care for your family member.
Edgewood was fortunate enough to inherit Matt when we did a ownership change and he has been the glue that holds us all together. Matt is a life long dog person as well and has many accomplishments in the sport of dogs. He has many years of numerous top dogs including Best in Show and Best in National specialty show winners. He is well versed in multiple breeds, breeding and dog care making him invaluable to safety and well being of our dogs here at Edgewood. You will most likely find him running the front desk or walking dogs but he fully capable of breed specific grooming as well.

Tiffany had joined Edgewood with over 15 years of grooming and managing a grooming shop. She chose to come to Edgewood to be able to have more freedom to pursue dog activities she was interested in and we couldn't be happier she made the move! I have a bachelor’s degree from NCSU in Animal Science but fell in love with grooming and decided to pursue that as a career.
Her first show dog was a English Cocker Spaniel Ducky. After she finished his Grand Championship she was hooked and got her second English Cocker Roomba.
She is a National awarded competition groomer and has been in the BIS line up at grooming competitions with both her English Cocker Ducky and her Bichon.
